Call for members to sit on the interim North Yorkshire VCSE Health & Care Assembly
We’ve been working to bring together a North Yorkshire VCSE Sector Health and Care Assembly which will cover the whole of North Yorkshire, more details of which can be found here.
Things are moving at a pace, and we are looking for expressions of interest from VCSE colleagues to sit on the interim Steering Group for the North Yorkshire VCSE Health and Care Assembly.
Membership of this Assembly will be broadly based on the proposed NHS Local Care Partnership areas of:
- the East Coast
- Hambleton & Richmondshire
- Harrogate & Rural
- Vale & Selby
- Craven.
Our aim is to have a group of approximately ten colleagues who bring their knowledge, experience and suggestions to help shape the new VCSE structure.
We want to build on, and have links with, existing structures/arrangements and have commissioned CoLibra to map existing VCSE health and care networks.
If you are interested in being part of the Interim Steering Group, we need you to be available to attend two meetings on 12 October and 9 November, both between 10am and noon. These meetings will establish the local and North Yorkshire wide Assemblies’ aims, objectives, function and resourcing, ready to be signed off as soon as the formal Local Care Partnership structures are agreed.
Please send your expression of interest in being part of the Interim Steering Group to: jane@colibra.co.uk by no later than Monday 26 September, including the area/s of North Yorkshire your organisation operates or delivers services in, your contact details and your organisation’s name.
Thanking you in advance for your interest in working with us to help address health inequalities in North Yorkshire.
