Thanks to funding from the Community Fund, and in follow up to the Humber and North Yorkshire Green Social Prescribing ‘test and learn’ programme, HEY Smile Foundation has secured funding to Grow Green and Blue Health in Humber and North Yorkshire.

Working with partners, this project seeks to support community-based organisations of all sizes to build their skills, capacity and ambitions in delivering activities in the outdoors and nature that support good health and wellbeing of those taking part, helping to cement connecting with the outdoors and nature as a key component of healthcare delivery. HEY Smile are working locally in partnership with Community First Yorkshire.

Why should you fill out the questionnaire?

By completing the questionnaire before 5pm on Friday 20 October you will be put into a draw for £250 to spend on outdoor and in-nature activity for your group or organisation.

• To ensure the support and development opportunities created are targeted and relevant to your organisation, and your beneficiaries, needs.
• Green and Blue Health refers to engaging in activity that takes place in ‘green’ spaces, such as parks and gardens, and on or near water, our ‘blue’ spaces. We know being outside in nature is good for our health and wellbeing.

The questionnaire should take 20 to 30 minutes to complete and the team would really value your insight.
