Humber and North Yorkshire Black History Month: in conversation Thursday 13 October

5 October 2022
Black History Month

October is Black History Month (BHM), an annual commemoration of the history, achievements, cultures and contributions of Black people in the UK.

Join Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership (HNY HCP) for ‘Humber and North Yorkshire Black History Month: in conversation’ – a virtual discussion panel with colleagues from ethnic minorities across health and care to discuss the theme of this year’s event – ‘time for change: action not words’.

The exciting group of panelists includes colleagues from acute and community trusts, primary care, social care, local authorities and VCSE sectors.

HNY HCP are delighted to announce that the panel will also be joined by author, activist and public speaker, Dr Godfred Boahen, PhD.

‘Humber and North Yorkshire Black History Month: in conversation’ will take place on Thursday 13 October, 3-4.30pm. You can book your place for the HNY event on BookWhen.

All are welcome – this event is open to everyone working in health and care across Humber and North Yorkshire. a.
