Local Government Review North Yorkshire – briefings for sport, leisure, arts and heritage organisations
Find out how the transition to a new North Yorkshire council may affect your organisation.
North Yorkshire County Council and Hambleton District Council are hosting briefings for organisations who work in sport, leisure, art, heritage, museums and libraries.
The briefing will be given by county and district council officers, who are working together as a joint implementation team. Each session will cover the establishment of the unitary council, how the transition will take place (including information on funding) the key stages and dates and the plans to work with sports and leisure organisations. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.
Briefings for culture, heritage, arts, museums, libraries and similar organisations will be on 14 March.
Briefings for sport and leisure organisations are on 15 March.
