This winter the pressures on the health and care system are intense.

As the North Yorkshire representative on the Humber and North Yorkshire ICS, we have been asked to develop a proposal to enhance VCSE sector services to help manage system pressures.

To do this, we are seeking to understand the current VCSE sector capacity to enhance existing services or mobilise additional support. From the evidence you provide, we will submit a proposal to the North Yorkshire Place Board to consider and find funding in 2023.

• Falls prevention / support after a fall
• Enhanced Social Prescribing for high intensity users (physical and mental health)
• Welfare calls
• Befriending services
• Home visit – care at home (regulated services)
