Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises and Partner 2022 Survey – Summary Findings

Earlier this year Community First Yorkshire surveyed the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector and stakeholders about awareness and engagement with our services, priorities and challenges VCSEs are facing and suggestions improvements and areas for service development. Some of the suggestions are already being responded to. Thank you to everyone who kindly responded. A summary is available here.

We respond to consultations on your behalf.

Our position as an infrastructure organisation and Rural Community Council (RCC) means we use the intelligence we’ve gathered from across the sector to respond to local, regional and national consultations.

Our surveys.

During 2020 and 2021 we ran a series of surveys to measure the impact of the pandemic on the voluntary and community sector. You can find all the research findings and reports here.

Providing the voluntary and community voice.

To make sure that voluntary groups and organisations have a voice, we coordinate representatives to be part of policymaking committees and boards across North, South and West Yorkshire. Take a look at agendas, minutes and papers for the groups listed.

Community First Yorkshire also represents the sector on the North Yorkshire and York Chief Executives Group.
