Salary:  Circa £30,000 depending on experience

Hours:  37.5 hours per week, flexible

About The Galtres Centre

Located in Easingwold, The Galtres Centre is a Registered Charity that operates a community facility comprising of a fitness centre, sports hall, 200 seat theatre and a variety of meeting rooms and spaces that can accommodate anything from a conference to private events.

The Fitness Centre is a mix of free weights, cardio machines and fixed weight machines. The sports hall accommodates four courts and runs almost at capacity. There are two flood lit outdoor tennis courts/football pitch as well as a 12 bike spin studio. The centre runs 30 exercise and wellbeing classes each week.

About the role

The Sports Coordinator will report to The Galtres Centre Manager, who in turn reports to the Board of Trustees. This role supervises a team of gym staff, class instructors and coaches. It also entails assisting in the office when needed. The Sports Coordinator will work alongside the Sports Committee reviewing and reporting on current activities and developing new initiatives to keep the Centre relevant and up to date.
