Thirsk: School and Families Lead, North Yorkshire Together
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Contract length: Fixed term (most likely until 31 March 2029)
Hours: 30 hours per week
North Yorkshire Together is recruiting a Schools & Families Lead to shape and deliver how FEAST supports and engages with schools and young people and their families across North Yorkshire. FEAST is the holiday activities and food programme for North Yorkshire, and reaches over 5,000 young people each year across the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays.
This role is a great way to have a real impact on the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable young people. North Yorkshire Together is looking for someone with exceptional project and relationship management skills, as well as experience working with schools and youth groups.
You will be adept at partnership working, managing large volumes of data/communications, and be able to take initiative and self-direct. You will have an understanding of community-based youth provision, how schools work, and the complexity and interconnected nature of these systems.
North Yorkshire Together is a partnership between North Yorkshire Sport, North Yorkshire Youth and Rural Arts that supports communities across the county to feel happy and healthy. From a personnel perspective, you will be directly employed by North Yorkshire Youth, however you will engage with team members from across organisations on a daily basis to work cohesively as Team FEAST.
