Whitby: Youth Mentor, North Yorkshire Together

We’re excited to be recruiting a full-time Youth Mentor (Whitby) to shape and deliver the Achieve programme, an ambitious secondary schools programme across Scarborough and Whitby.

The Achieve programme, funded by Anglo-American and the Woodsmith Foundation, aims to support disadvantaged students to achieve their potential by supporting their personal development, connections to aspirations, and improving learning and attainment.

We’re looking for a committedexperienced Youth Mentor who will undertake significant one-to-one work, as well as group facilitation, with a specific cohort of 25-30 young people.

This is a brilliant opportunity to support real and positive change to the lives of disadvantaged young people.

The vast majority of your work will take place in two schools in Whitby.

From a personnel perspective, you will be directly employed by North Yorkshire Youth, however you will engage with team members from across organisations on a daily basis to work cohesively as Team North Yorkshire Together.

Please complete your application and send it to recruitment@northyorkshiretogether.co.uk
