York: Health Development Officer, Community First Yorkshire

Part time – 21 hours per week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
12-month initial fixed term contract
Office based (Askham Bryan) and working from home, with a requirement to attend meetings across North Yorkshire
£31,585 FTE (pro rata)

We are looking for a Health Development Officer to join our team.

Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of communities in North Yorkshire? If you have project management experience and a positive, solutions-focused approach, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

In this new role, you will help develop collaborative approaches to improve health and care services across local communities. You’ll also identify new opportunities to develop and deliver health and care initiatives through the VCSE sector.

Supporting the Head of Health Collaboration, you’ll develop new projects and services and secure new health funding, while ensuring that diverse communities are actively engaged in shaping new service development.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, who is self-motivated, organised and able to work under their own initiative as well as being part of a friendly and dynamic team.
