Are you a social entrepreneur looking to grow your impact and strengthen your organisation? We are running a free training programme from January to March 2026, which provides expert-led learning, peer support, and long-term mentoring to help you thrive.
Programme overview
Delivered by a trusted training provider, this programme supports social enterprises with:
- Three full-day training sessions across six weeks
- Inspirational speakers and experienced enterprise advisors
- Six-month mentoring programme starting February 2026
- Action learning opportunities to support growth and resilience.
Topics include
- Social enterprise and regulation: legal structures and governance
- Community investment models: asset transfer, Right to Buy, grassroots initiatives
- Financial sustainability: charitable trading, compliance, policies
- Measuring impact: mission, vision, evaluation, theory of change
- Growth planning: sustainability and resilience strategies.
Who can apply
This programme is open to:
- Social entrepreneurs and organisations in York and North Yorkshire
- Early-stage ventures needing structured support
- Leaders from underrepresented or economically challenged communities
- Those exploring community asset ownership and wealth-building.
