Terms and conditions: what you need to know before booking
Who should attend
Please note our training is only available to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.
Costs and concessions
Each event is individually priced as per the event listing. We offer a concessionary rate for organisations meeting the following criteria:
Free to VCSE organisations in North Yorkshire with a turnover of up to £25k who are experiencing financial hardship and would struggle to pay.
If you meet this criteria, you can self-select a concessionary rate during booking. Note that if no concessionary rate is offered at the time of booking then concessionary places are unavailable for that event.
All other places must be paid for at time of booking at the rate shown in the event listing.
Payment
All courses must be paid for in advance and in full.
Payment is by debit card or credit card.
If you are unable to pay using this method, please email info@communityfirstyorkshire.org.uk. Alternative payment methods will incur a 10% administration fee.
Cancellation terms
All our courses are subsidised for voluntary and community groups and non-attendance means that this money is lost or that we can run fewer courses in future. In addition, we often have waiting lists where places could be filled if appropriate notice of a cancellation is given.
As a result, all courses must be paid for in advance and in full.
Cancellations for PAID courses must be made at least 7 days in advance.
Cancellations which occur within 7 days of the event will not be refunded.
If you have registered for a FREE course and are unable to attend for any reason, please provide notice of your non-attendance at least 7 days prior to the event.
If due to unforeseen circumstances we are forced to cancel an event, all payments received will be refunded or transferred to allow attendance of another training session or event of your choice.
Booking confirmation
All bookings will be confirmed by email. Please ensure that you give a valid email at the time of booking otherwise Community First Yorkshire will not be able to send a booking confirmation
Upon receiving a confirmation, you must check that the information contained within it is correct. Should any information be incorrect Community First Yorkshire must be notified so that any required reasonable changes can be made. Should you not receive a confirmation please contact Community First Yorkshire so that one can be sent to you.
