Healthwatch North Yorkshire is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated Projects and Engagement Officer to join their small, dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure people’s experiences of health and social care are heard and used to influence positive change. You’ll lead and support their projects, meet people in communities across North Yorkshire, analyse feedback and produce reports that help improve care.

About the role

•  37 hours per week.
• Fixed term contract until 31 March 2028.
• Salary of £28,800 pa.

They’re looking for someone who will:

• Lead and deliver small-scale projects from planning through to reporting.
• Speak to people across North Yorkshire about their experiences of health and care.
• Attend community events and engagement activities.
• Analyse feedback and identify key themes.
• Produce clear, well-written reports and presentations.
• Build positive relationships with local organisations and community groups.
• Help ensure people’s voices influence decisions about health and care.
• Travel across North Yorkshire to attend meetings, events and conversational activities.
