Resilient local places

Communities need the tools and resources to shape their own future

Helping communities protect local assets, improve access and shape practical solutions.

We worked with rural communities to tackle challenges including affordable housing, climate resilience, digital exclusion and the sustainability of vital local spaces.

Through community-led housing support, Village Green, digital inclusion programmes and work with village halls and community buildings, we helped local people develop practical solutions and strengthen the assets their communities rely on.

This work is connected. A sustainable community building can create a home for local services, digital support and community action. Better digital confidence can reduce isolation and improve access to opportunities. Community-led approaches help residents influence what happens in their own place.

Strong local places are built through connection

Community assets, local knowledge, digital access and trusted partnerships reinforce one another. Together, they help people respond to change and create solutions that fit their place.
