Scarborough: Dementia Activity Support Worker, Dementia Forward

Salary: £13.71 per hour

Hours:7 hours per week (with potential for further hours)

About the role

Dementia Forward is looking to recruit a self-motivated, caring person to work in their Scarborough Hub Club (day service) as a Dementia Activity Support worker.

The role will involve supporting people with dementia to maintain wellbeing and access activities within a group setting. The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet, create a welcoming atmosphere, be sensitive and understanding of the needs of people with dementia and enjoy working as part of a team.
