Rivers4Life

Exhibition room with banners, posters, and quilts about rivers and citizen science. A tank with water and rocks sits by two wooden chairs. Colourful bunting hangs above, and displays cover the Life journey of a river.

The Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust’s family-friendly exhibition has lots of things to engage audiences of all ages, including costumes of river creatures for dressing up and lots of hands-on activities for children.

The exhibition is open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm, from 6 June-27 September, at the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes.

Entry is £5 for adults and FREE for children under 16. Book here.

With an exciting mixture of river facts, challenges and solutions, films, sound stations, artefacts, community and schools artwork, interactives, photography, an underwater installation and a stop-frame animation, the exhibition is a real celebration of our rivers.
