From 11–18 October, York and North Yorkshire are joining the national movement to tackle hate crime and build safer, more inclusive communities.

Led by the multi-organisational York and North Yorkshire Inclusive Communities Joint Coordinating Group, the week will spotlight:

  • Raising awareness of hate crime
  •  Building trust and confidence to report incidents
  • Promoting support services and inclusive communities

Each day will focus on key messages around hate crime and disability, encouraging everyone to stand up, speak out, and support one another.

Let’s work together to make North Yorkshire a place where everyone feels safe, respected, and included.
