Connecting North Yorkshire: New peer group for VCSE sector leaders
Community First Yorkshire is inviting all chief executives and leaders (CEOs) from voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across North Yorkshire to join a new peer group.
The network meetings will provide a safe and constructive space for VCSE CEOs to connect with peers and strengthen collaborative relationships across the VCSE sector in North Yorkshire. There will be no formal agenda or format and the meetings will work to Chatham House rules to build trust across the network.
Jane Colthup, Chief Executive of Community First Yorkshire, said,
“We understand the unique and challenging nature of VCSE Chief Executives’ roles and we are keen to build this peer network to support us all and strengthen collaborative working. By networking with our peer group, we open ourselves up to gaining valuable knowledge and strengthened relationships to help us all tackle the challenges and opportunities ahead with a fresher perspective.”
The meetings will take place monthly, starting with an in-person event on 8 June at the Principal Hotel, York. They will then alternate between in-person and online meetings.
