North Yorkshire: Head of Learning and Development, North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre

Salary: £34,527-£36,419 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 30-37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre provides free, confidential and impartial advice to around 25,000 people each year, helping people find a way forward with issues including money, benefits, housing and employment. As an independent charity rooted in their communities, they’re committed to improving lives while continually developing their people and services.

They’re looking for an experienced learning and development professional to lead their organisation-wide approach to learning and development. As a member of their Senior Management Team, you’ll shape how they develop their employees and volunteers, ensuring colleagues have the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high-quality services.

You’ll work closely with managers to strengthen leadership capability, improve learning across the organisation and support continuous improvement. You’ll also provide strategic oversight for a number of organisational projects, ensuring they are effectively governed and aligned with their organisational priorities.

Whether you’re already leading learning and development or you’re ready to take the next step into a strategic leadership role, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on their organisation and the communities they serve.

This role can be undertaken remotely from within the UK. Hybrid and office-based working are also available, if preferred, from their offices in Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough or Selby.
