York: Impact and Finance Officer, MySight York

Salary:  £28,142 for 37 hours per week

Hours:  21 hours per week (3 days of 7 hours, flexible)

Location:  MySight York HQ (Walmgate, York)

Reporting to: Deputy Chief Executive

Are you detail-oriented, confident with data, and interested in helping a small charity become more insight-driven?

My Sight York is excited to recruit to the new role of Impact & Finance Officer. They are a small, values-led charity supporting people to live well with sight loss.

They support over 1,700 people each year with emotional support, advice, equipment and community services. As they implement their new 2025–2028 Strategy, they are strengthening their internal systems to demonstrate their impact, value and sustainability with confidence.

You will:

  • Capture, analyse and report on impact and outcomes across services and fundraising
  • support finance processes including budget tracking, income processing and monthly reporting
  • contribute to internal dashboards and external funding bids
  • help prepare for enhanced SORP (Charity Statement of Recommended Practice) reporting
  • this is a great opportunity for someone with experience in either charity finance or impact reporting who would like to develop both skill sets. You will help build the structures they need to secure the future of sight loss support in York.
