Kirkham Henry Performing Arts CIO is looking for new Trustees to join their friendly and passionate team.

They’re looking for people who love the performing arts, believe in inclusion and want to make a real difference in their community.

At Kirkham Henry, performing arts are for everyone – from tiny tots to older adults and from recreational dancers to those working towards professional pathways. They are passionate about creating an environment where everyone can feel welcome, valued and able to achieve their potential.

Their present Board of Trustees includes a multi-faceted team drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds, experience and skills, but they are now looking to expand this team, to meet the needs of the organisation going forward, after two Trustees recently stepped down.

Their Board of Trustees sets their long-term direction; ensures their resources are used effectively and helps them maximise their impact. Trustees also play an important role in upholding their vision and values. They welcome applications from people who are caring, committed and motivated to help them achieve their mission.

They particularly welcome people who have an interest in:

• Performing arts and creative education Inclusion, SEND and accessibility
• Children, young people and families
• Adult and older-person wellbeing
• Community projects and partnerships
• Charity, business, fundraising or building development

Being a Trustee is an opportunity to share your skills, ideas and enthusiasm, help them make important decisions and play a part in developing Kirkham Henry for the future.
