Harrogate: Support Worker (Weekend), Harrogate Homeless Project
Salary: £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour upon successful completion of probation. Additional hours may be available to cover annual leave, sickness and on-call duties.

Harrogate Homeless Project (HHP) is looking for two compassionate and motivated Weekend Support Workers to join their dedicated Client Services Team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity across the Harrogate district.
They have two part-time positions available (14 hours per week):
- 7:30am-2:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays
- 1:30-8pm, Saturdays and Sundays
As a Support Worker, you will help create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for clients living within their hostel accommodation, Springboard services and flats. You will provide practical and emotional support, assist new residents with inductions, maintain accurate records, carry out health and safety checks and work closely with colleagues, volunteers and partner agencies to help clients move towards greater independence.
They are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive and proactive attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships with people from a range of backgrounds. Experience working with vulnerable adults, homelessness, housing, social care or mental health services is desirable, but most importantly, you will share their values and commitment to empowering people to achieve positive outcomes.
