Are you an organised, professional and compassionate administrator looking for a role where your work truly makes a difference?

Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your administrative skills to support a charity that provides accommodation, support and hope to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity across the Harrogate district.

As their Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation, enabling frontline teams to focus on delivering life-changing support. You will provide efficient administrative and secretarial support across their offices, hostel and support services, helping to maintain effective systems, accurate records and seamless communication throughout the charity.

This varied and rewarding role will see you acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, coordinating correspondence, managing office supplies, supporting meetings and events and maintaining both digital and paper filing systems. You will also assist with client databases, HR records, fundraising administration and management reporting, ensuring information is accurate, secure and compliant with GDPR requirements.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will provide secretarial support to the Chief Executive, assist with health and safety administration and contribute to a welcoming and efficient working environment. No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy and varied role.

They are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a positive, team-focused approach. Previous administration experience is essential and experience within the charity, housing or social care sectors would be an advantage.
