Salary: £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour upon successful completion of probation

Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking a compassionate and resilient Women’s Support Worker to join their dedicated Client Services Team. This rewarding role will see you working alongside women experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, providing practical and emotional support to help them move towards brighter, more independent futures.

Based across their hostel, Springboard Day Centre and supported accommodation services in Harrogate, you will help create a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental environment where women can access the support, opportunities and encouragement they need to thrive.

Key duties include supporting residents on a day-to-day basis, welcoming clients and visitors, maintaining accurate records, carrying out accommodation checks, assisting with benefit applications and working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes. You will build trusting relationships with clients while promoting dignity, wellbeing and independence at every stage of their journey.

They are looking for someone who is caring, adaptable and committed to supporting women facing complex challenges. Previous experience in support work, housing, health and social care, or a related field would be advantageous, although full training and development opportunities will be provided.
